Lumax Mettalics Private Limited is a 100% subsidiary of Lumax Auto Technologies Limited, has been formed to manufacture and supply metallic products such as Seat Structures and allied components. The products are manufactured using Robotic MIG welding process. The assemblies are made out of tubular and stamped parts with 100% automation offering the right amount of rigidity keeping safety and security in mind.
Lumax Auto Technologies Limited, India and Ituran Location and Control Ltd, Israel entered a joint venture (JV) agreement for sale of telematics products and services to the Indian automotive industry. The new JV company, “Lumax Ituran Telematics Private Limited” will tap into the large market, which currently has low penetration of advanced telematics technology. According to the agreement, Lumax Auto Technologies will own 50% of the joint venture, with Ituran owning the remaining 50%.
Lumax Auto Technologies Limited established a joint venture with Francisco Albero S.A.U., (FAE) Spain to manufacture and supply Oxygen Sensors to the Indian automotive industry. Lumax Auto Technologies own the 51% of the joint venture company, "Lumax FAE Technologies Private Limited", with FAE owning the remaining 49%. The JV company will make an initial investment for an installed capacity of 2 million Oxygen Sensors, and the production is expected to commence from early 2019. With this move, Lumax FAE Technologies Private Limited will be a key supplier for technologically advanced, innovative & affordable Oxygen Sensors (O2) for the India market, with further scope for expanding the product line.
Lumax DK Jain Group company, Lumax Auto Technologies Limited announced its joint venture with JOPP, Germany to manufacture and supply transmission products to the Indian automotive industry. Under the Joint Venture, both the partners will hold an equal 50% share in the new entity to be named Lumax JOPP Allied Technologies. While JOPP will bring the world class technology for its products to joint venture, Lumax will provide its 7 decades’ rich experience towards management of the JV in India. Focus of JV is towards self-reliance in technology and establish a state-of-the-art R&D centre in India along with manufacturing operations. The JV will engage in design, development and production of Gear Shift Towers, Automated Manual Transmission (AMT) Kits, All Gear Sensor (AGS) and Forks to start with. Commercial production is expected to begin in Q4 of FY 20 from an existing Lumax facility in Manesar, Haryana.
Lumax YOKOWO Technologies Pvt. Ltd is a joint venture between Lumax Auto Technologies Limited and YOKOWO CO., LTD., Japan to manufacture and supply on-board antennas and other vehicle communication products to the Indian automotive industry. Under the Joint Venture, both the partners have a 50:50 share in the entity. The Japanese partner is a leading specialist in electronics components and advanced devices for wireless communication and information transmission.
