At Lumax, we are dedicated to empowering women through holistic community initiatives under our CSR programs. Our focus spans across promoting girls' education by addressing societal and parental barriers, raising awareness about gender equality and equal access to learning, and improving health through nutrition and menstrual hygiene awareness. We work to combat anemia and malnutrition, ensuring better participation in academics and life skills, while also conducting menstrual hygiene sessions to promote better practices and access to sanitary products. Our financial literacy programs educate communities on savings, budgeting, and government schemes. By observing important days like Women’s Day, National Girl Child Day, and Environment Day, we reinforce our commitment to awareness and advocacy. Through these integrated efforts, we aim to foster lasting change, independence, and opportunity for women across our communities.
At Lumax, we believe in creating sustainable change within communities. While we have long worked with children, we recognised the vital role that mothers play in ensuring their daughters attend school. we’ve established a sustainable, community-led sanitary pad manufacturing unit in rural Haryana. Operated by local women, this initiative not only creates livelihood opportunities but also ensures the production of affordable, high-quality sanitary pads. These are distributed to school girls, improving menstrual hygiene management, reducing absenteeism, and fostering dignity and confidence among adolescent girls.
We believe that a safe, hygienic, and supportive school environment is key to nurturing confident learners. As part of our commitment to community well-being and social responsibility, we work directly within school premises—installing water coolers, revamping drinking water stations, and ensuring access to clean, functional washrooms.
Through these integrated efforts, we’re building healthier schools and empowered communities—where education and hygiene go hand in hand.
